Anonymous asked: Do you do commissioned artwork? You are one of my very favorite artist and I have met you in person but I'd like to keep anonymous because I am very nervous about messaging you.

adactivity asked: Just read a negative review of Happiness 3(mainly negative b/c reviewer grumpily starts out reading it with the presupposition of "So these are supposed to be the new cartoonists?!?"). What really pissed me off is he calls your art "unappealing, bad drawing", I was going to write a scathing rebuttal how this dipshit doesn't know how to look at art. But then I went to his blog and saw his other articles included "ALAN MOORE VS. GRANT MORRISON" and figured nerds don't know art so fuck it. Holla!
hey, yeah that was a pretty strange read— doesn’t really seem like a worthwhile critique, which is a shame. i love to hear other people’s perpectives on what i’m doing, negative or positive. i would have been into dude expounding on why some works were “good” and which were “bad,” and what made the distinction so clear to him. “these are artists to watch” is a really vague and empty statement. also lumping all comics together under the title of cartooning is a mistake in my opinion. i believe there is more to it than that. but whatever, on to the next one !
